Design and Analysis of Lightweight Authentication Protocol for Securing IoD

چکیده

The Internet-of-drones (IoD) environment is a layered network control architecture designed to maintain, coordinate, access, and drones (or Unmanned Aerial vehicles UAVs) facilitate drones’ navigation services. main entities in IoD are drones, ground station, external user. Before operationalizing drone IoD, infrastructure mandatory for securing its open channel (Flying Ad Hoc Networks FANETs). An attacker can easily capture data from the available use it their own purpose. Its protection challenging, as guarantees message integrity, non-repudiation, authenticity, authorization amongst all participants. Incredibly, without robust authentication protocol, task sensitive challenging one solve. This research focus on security of communication path between station solving noted vulnerabilities like stolen-verifier, privileged-insider attacks, outdated-data-transmission/design flaws often reported current protocols IoD. We proposed hash code/secure algorithmic (HMACSHA1) based robust, improved lightweight protocol has been verified formally using Random Oracle Model (ROM), ProVerif2.02 informally assumptions pragmatic illustration. performance evaluation proved that compared prior recommended implementation real-world environment.

The term "Internet of Things (IoT)" expresses a huge network of smart and connected objects which can interact with other devices without our interposition. Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a great technology and an interesting candidate to provide communications for IoT networks, but numerous security and privacy issues need to be considered. In this paper, we analyze the security and ...

LeiA: A Lightweight Authentication Protocol for CAN

Recent research into automotive security has shown that once a single vehicle component is compromised, it is often possible to take full control of the vehicle. This paper proposes LeiA, a lightweight authentication protocol for the Controller Area Network (CAN). This protocol allows critical vehicle Electronic Control Units (ECUs) to authenticate each other providing compartmentalisation and ...

Security Analysis of Lightweight Authentication Protocol from WISTP 2013

One of the key problems in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is security and privacy. Many RFID authentication protocols have been proposed to preserve security and privacy of the system. Nevertheless, most of these protocols are analyzed and it is shown that they can not provide security against some RFID attacks. In WISTP 2013, a new lightweight authentication protocol using AES S-box and...
